The Wild English Garden Collection
This latest IH X PC capsule collection features pieces inspired by the beautiful winter garden at India’s family home in Oxfordshire. Both styles encapsulate the rich palette of an English landscape in autumn, reimagined with India’s stylish eye.
For those of you who don’t know India Hicks, she’s a formidable humanitarian, entrepreneur, hotelier, model and mother of 5, who is now in her 3rd season as a collaborator with PC. India’s passion for quality, heritage products, and slow fashion made her an ideal design partner, and her fast paced, philanthropic lifestyle means that boots which can go anywhere and do anything are something she truly values.
This latest IH X PC collection features two new pieces, both inspired by the beautiful winter garden at India’s family home in Oxfordshire. Designed by her late father, Designer David Hicks, it is a calming, wild space where she enjoys taking time to reflect, and these products pay homage to the garden’s rich colours and autumnal essence.
The first piece sees us update a PC staple, and the boot which launched our brand, the Long Tassel. Famous itself as a go-to-style for HRH Catherine of Wales, India has brought her own incredible eye to the design, reworking it in this stylish, slate-inspired, bluey grey. Exclusively cut for us close to the ankle and with scallop and tassel detailing on the zip panel. These handmade boots are partially lined in deerskin and feature a Goodyear Welt with a rubber tread sole. The perfect piece for long walks in the woods, or long evenings at the supper table.
The second style in the Wild English Garden Collection is in our best-selling Western Cowboy boot. Reimagined this season, under India’s watchful eye, our Cowboy Boot has undergone an English autumnal transformation. The Grove is handcrafted in a hunter-green leather with subtle plume embroidery inspired by the feathers that fall into the garden. This ever-popular style has been cut as a high midcalf, with a Cuban heel and elongated toe line to create a sleek slim fit, which will flatter from all angles. The ultimate style to stride out in this autumn.
