We also couldn’t resist bringing a bit of decadence into menswear this year, via the Men's High Seas Slipper. A great choice for elegant gentlemen, or the more classically sartorial — a showcase of dapper dressing at its best. Each pair is made by hand, in a specialist Spanish atelier by local artisans, and the slippers themselves are leather soled and lined throughout. This style comes in sumptuous bitter chocolate, that looks great with a casual suit or a pair of tailored trousers.
Our fourth choice is The Men's Creative boot, for those who enjoy an edgier aesthetic. This piece is brogue inspired, but with a flair all of its own, the design can easily be dressed up or down and features hand-punched detailing, displayed on soft, conker-coloured, Spanish leather. It’s a great option for guys who like to be a little more creative with the dress code and it’s well-made too, featuring our signature hardwearing soles, so they really can live in them all year round!
In a similar vein to The Creative, comes The Men's Architect boot; another dress up/dress down style, for those who don’t like to be pigeonholed into more traditional designs or colours. The Architect features light brogue detailing and visible, contrast-coloured stitching, with a longer ankle boot shape, that looks great with turned up trousers, or shorter fit jeans. Again, The Architect is fully lined with leather and sits on our signature Goodyear Welt, rubber tread sole, famous for comfort and durability.
We thought we should include an indoor style as well, which is where our moccasin slippers come in! Made from natural sheepskin, with a pure wool lining and handsome, contrast embroidery - inspired by traditional handicrafts. These slippers are a great in-house option, and thanks to their moccasin shape, will slip on easily at home, without necessarily giving away the fact you're wearing slippers at all! Each pair is built onto a wraparound suede sole, so they will last for many more winters to come and all just in time for Christmas...
