Our original (often imitated, never surpassed) Penelope Chilvers Tassel Boots in sustainably sourced Spanish leather are the epitome of luxury. Exclusively cut for us close to the ankle for a more feminine fit with a scallop detail at the zip panel and a leather tassel on the zip pull. These handmade boots are partially leather lined with a Goodyear Welted Commando rubber sole. Perfectly styled and wonderfully practical – these boots are made to last - our Tassel Boots (as worn by HRH Catherine, Princess of Wales) encase the leg beautifully giving a sleek, leg lengthening and elegant silhouette.

Calf Width

Available in two calf widths - Standard and Generous. Please consult our SIZE GUIDE for specific size calf width measurements. The Generous is a more relaxed fit which is wider than the slim tassel boot fit.

Specifications & Care

Spanish leather upper from an LWG audited tannery. Exterior zip and tassel detail. Partially leather lined on a Goodyear welted Commando rubber sole. Made in Spain.

LEATHER CARE: Protect with Dasco Protector Spray before initial wear and reapply regularly to maintain the condition of your footwear. Nourish regularly with Saphir D'or Leather Creme and use our Buffing Brush to bring out the richness of the leather. Store in the dust bag provided.

Shipping & Returns

DELIVERY

UK Standard Delivery

Our UK standard delivery costs £6.00 and we aim to deliver your parcel within 3 - 5 working days. We use the Royal Mail Tracked 48 service and a signature will be required upon delivery. (Please note this service may take longer during busy periods.)

Prior to delivery, you will receive an email and text message (if you have supplied a mobile number) from Royal Mail with your delivery tracking information. If you are not available to sign for your parcel, a Royal Mail calling card will be left explaining what to do next.

UK Express Delivery

Our UK Express delivery costs £8.00 and we aim to deliver your parcel within 1 - 2 working days. We use the Royal Mail Tracked 24 service and a signature will be required upon delivery. (Orders placed before 2pm Monday - Friday will typically be delivered the next working day. Orders placed after 2pm will be dispatched the following working day.)

UK Next Day Delivery £10

Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday will be delivered the next day via DPD and will require a signature on delivery. (Orders will not be dispatched on Saturday and Sunday.)

Please note due to the need to ship by air, we cannot offer UK Next Day Delivery to Northern Ireland.

Delivery to Remote Regions

Please note, that it may take up to 3 working day using our UK express delivery service and 4-6 working days for our standard service:

International Delivery

You are shopping on the UK website. For all other destinations, please select the country you wish to ship to first which is located in the top right hand corner of our homepage.

Christmas Returns

You may refund your item with a receipt up to and including Jan 7th 2024.

FREE RETURNS

In the event that you are not completely satisfied with your order, we will offer a full refund if the order is returned within 21 days.

SALE/Discounted orders must be returned within 14 days.

Warranty

At Penelope Chilvers, we make our products to last. We work carefully with master craftsmen to create pieces of the upmost quality.

To show our commitment to this quality, we provide a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects on all Penelope Chilvers products.

If there is a defect, we will try to repair the product. If this is not possible, a replacement will be offered. Alternatively, an item of the same value will be offered or a Gift Voucher will be provided to the same value as the original purchase price.

This warranty applies whether you made your PC purchase directly with us, or via an approved retailer. All we ask is that you show proof of purchase.

This warranty does not apply to second hand, sample sale, Reskinned or products purchased via a non-approved reseller.
