Please use the below instructions and tables to determine your Boot Height and Calf Width. How To Measure Your Shaft for Boot Height: Step 1: Stand up and place your feet flat on the floor. Step 2: Use a tape measure and start just below your knee before the bend, running it all the way down to the ground. Step 3: Measure to the nearest 1cm. Do not worry if each leg is a different height - use the larger measurement as your true length. How To Measure Your Calf for Calf Width: Step 1: Stand up and place your feet flat on the floor. Step 2: Wrap a tape measure around the widest part of your calf. Step 3: Measure both calves to the nearest 1cm. Do not worry if each calf is a different size - use the larger measurements as your true calf size. For a comfortable fit, your calf measurement should not exceed the CALF CM size in the table below. The calf measurements are based on measurements taken from the inside of the boot. Model Measurements: Our model is 5'9 with a 33cm calf width and 48cm shaft height. She wears a Long Tassel Boot with a Standard calf width and Tall boot height.

Our original (often imitated, never surpassed) Penelope Chilvers Tassel Boots in sustainably sourced Spanish leather are the epitome of luxury. Exclusively cut for us close to the ankle for a more feminine fit with a scallop detail at the zip panel and a leather tassel on the zip pull. These handmade boots are partially lined in deerskin with a Goodyear Welt rubber tread sole. Perfectly styled and wonderfully practical – these boots are made to last. Our Tassel Boots (as worn by HRH Catherine, Princess of Wales) encase the leg beautifully giving a sleek, leg lengthening and elegant silhouette.

Product features & care

SPECS: Spanish leather upper from an LWG audited tannery. Exterior zip and tassel detail. Partially leather lined on a Goodyear welted Commando rubber sole. Made in Spain.

BOOT HEIGHT: Available in two boot heights - Standard and Tall. Please consult our Size Guide for specific size boot height measurements.

CALF WIDTH: Available in two calf widths - Standard and Generous. Please consult our Size Guide for specific size calf width measurements. The Generous is a more relaxed fit which is wider than the slim tassel boot fit.

MODEL MEASUREMENTS: Our model is 5′9 with a 33cm calf width and 48cm shaft height. She wears a Long Tassel Boot with a Standard calf width and Tall boot height.

LEATHER CARE: Apply some Leather Feed with a soft dry cloth and buff up as much as you want with the Beech Buffing Brush. For a more nourishing and protecting treatment, use our Leather Cream to revitalise the colour of your leather. Softly wipe away dirt and dust with a dry Application Cloth or Beech Mud Brush for more stubborn mud.

Delivery & returns

DELIVERY

Christmas Return Delivery

If you purchase between November 1st and December 19th, you have until January 6th to return with our extended Christmas returns policy. Outside of this, the normal 21-day returns policy applies.

UK Standard Delivery

Our UK standard delivery costs £5.00 and we aim to deliver your parcel within 3 - 5 working days. We use the Royal Mail Tracked 48 service and a signature will be required upon delivery. (Please note this service may take longer during busy periods.)

Prior to delivery, you will receive an email and text message (if you have supplied a mobile number) from Royal Mail with your delivery tracking information. If you are not available to sign for your parcel, a Royal Mail calling card will be left explaining what to do next.

UK Express Delivery

Our UK Express delivery costs £8.00 and we aim to deliver your parcel within 1 - 2 working days. We use the Royal Mail Tracked 24 service and a signature will be required upon delivery. (Orders placed before 2pm Monday - Friday will typically be delivered the next working day. Orders placed after 2pm will be dispatched the following working day.

UK Next Day Delivery £10

Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Thursday will be delivered the next day via DPD/Royal Mail and will require a signature on delivery. (Orders will not be dispatched on Saturday and Sunday. Orders placed Friday will be delivered next working day i.e Monday)

Please note due to the need to ship by air, we cannot offer UK Next Day Delivery to Northern Ireland.

Delivery to Remote Regions

Please note, that it may take up to 3 working day using our UK express delivery service and 4-6 working days for our standard service

International Delivery

You are shopping on the UK website. For all other destinations, please select the country you wish to ship to first which is located in the top right hand corner of our homepage.

FREE RETURNS

In the event that you are not completely satisfied with your order, we will offer a full refund if the order is returned within 21 days.

SALE/Discounted orders must be returned within 14 days.

To demonstrate our commitment to this quality, we offer a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects for this Goodyear Welt Construction product.

In the event of a defect, we will first attempt to repair the boots. If repair is not feasible, we will provide a replacement. Alternatively, you may choose an item of equal value or receive a Gift Voucher for the original purchase price.

This warranty applies to purchases made directly from us or through an approved retailer.

Please keep your proof of purchase handy. Please note that this warranty does not cover second-hand items, sample sales, Reskinned products, or those purchased from non-approved resellers.
