The team made the 1.5-hour drive to New York City. The Big Apple that inspires big dreams had them excited for the days ahead.

Checking into their rooms at the Hoxton Williamsburg, located in a very cool and trendy area of New York City, they were excited to walk in and see their room had a stunning view of Manhattan across the river.

After a quick stop for a bite to eat at a café on the streets, they made their way to the Holiday on Madison Avenue pop-up store. The perfect place for New Yorkers looking to buy for the festive season! They were thrilled to see that Penelope Chilvers were the exclusive footwear at the pop-up, with so of our women’s boots and shoes available to purchase. A crowd favourite being the Incredible Boot, shearling-lined for ultimate warmth and comfort during the cooler months.

3 December

To make the most of a rainy day, Penelope, Gemma, and Nattie took the opportunity to embrace themselves in art culture at the MoMA. Here they visited the Picasso in Fontainebleau Exhibit, showcasing Pablo Picasso’s work from 1921 when he spent the summer in this charming small town in France. Bold, daring, and experimental art that challenged the artist world, but now becomes forever timeless in society. Penelope, in awe of the late Picasso’s brave artistry, was inspired to use the pieces she had seen as the grounds for her next mood board.

Walking the streets of New York they made their way from Manhattan to the Upper East Side, where they sat for an afternoon tea at the boutique hotel, The Lowell. Then ended the day back at The Hoxton for a delicious Isralian feast at the gorgeous rooftop restaurant, Laser Wolf.

4 December - New York City Dog Walk

For the first time ever, we took our annual Penelope Chilvers dog walk to New York City. Guests came in their favourite Penelope Chilvers women’s winter boots, and their pups in Penelope Chilvers dog collars and dog leads. To read more click here.

5 & 6 December

From visiting potential US stockists, meeting members of US press, to roaming the streets of New York and taking in the sights, Penelope and Gemma were seen #WalkinginPC in their favourite women’s boots!

One of Penelope’s winter favourites, the Incredible Tortoiseshell Shearling Boot, she pairs with our woollen socks. A winter women’s boot that was admired my many of our US customers for its timeless style and cosy shearling-lining.
