Permanent Vacancy - Assistant Accountant

We’re looking for a full or part qualified Assistant Accountant to join our growing finance team. The Assistant Accountant’s role is to support the Head of Finance with managing the day to day finances of the company, ensuring accurate and complete financial information. The right candidate will be responsible for closing month end including the preparation of accruals and prepayments, carrying out reconciliations, and completion of VAT returns. The Assistant accountant will also be involved in the budgeting/forecast process including monthly variance analysis versus budget.

To be invited to interview for our Assistant Accountant vacancy, you must be part qualified or qualified by experience in a similar role, ideally within a retail environment. You must also possess strong organisation & prioritisation skills, be comfortable communicating across all levels within a business, have strong numeracy and analytical skills and also be confident using Excel. Experience of Xero is preferred but not required.
Our ideal candidate is available to work 4 days (28 hours) per week and the role is primarily a remote position working from home, with occasional travel into the London office.

Permanent Vacancy - Accounts Clerk

We’re looking for an Accounts Clerk to join our growing finance team. The Accounts Clerk’s role is to support the finance team ensuring accurate and complete financial information. The right candidate will be responsible for all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable/Credit control functions including posting invoices, preparation of payment runs, and dealing with customer and supplier queries. The Accounts Clerk will be pivotal ensuring cash is collected and suppliers are paid on time.

To be invited to interview for our Accounts Clerk vacancy, you must be have relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within a retail environment. You must also possess strong organisation & prioritisation skills, be comfortable communicating across all levels within a business, have strong numeracy and analytical skills and also be confident using Excel. Experience of Xero is preferred but not required.
