Which style did you choose and why were those the pair for you?

I chose the Inclement Long Tassel Boots in seaweed/conker as they're warm, sturdy and waterproof - the ultimate winter boot!

We love the idea of our customers and Pioneers taking our shoes around the world as they live out their various adventures. Tell us a little about what you will be doing in your PC’s over the next few months?

I’ll be wearing my inclement boots on walks and on the beach over winter, they’re just perfect for my outdoor adventures.

You have just published a new book ‘Disobedient Bodies’. Tell us a little bit about it and What Inspired You To Write It?

I wanted to think about ways we could approach beauty differently - too often the pursuit of elusive and unattainable standards means that our beauty culture ends up being tyrannical and oppressive, when it could be joyful and liberatory. Beauty should induce more pleasure than it does pain.

As a writer, you are unafraid to tackle big problems in your work such As Class, Sex, Race, And Wealth. What Draws You To This Space?

Because I believe all human beings have the right to live lives of purpose, fulfilment, beauty, and joy, but our society has been constructed in such a way that most people cannot. I write for the world as I want it to be.

Through your work, you’ve met and interviewed some incredible people, who has really impressed or surprised you in the last few years?

I loved interviewing Bernie Sanders for the UK publication of his book ‘It’s OK to be Angry about Capitalism’. A wonderful human being and a wonderful book!

‘Disobedient Bodies’ tries to unpack the damage current so called “Beauty” standards have inflicted on women; as a woman increasingly in the spotlight, how do you navigate these?

One way is by trying to identify what "choices" I might make about my presentation, because I am uncritically reproducing my conditioning, versus making decisions that are informed more from a place of more autonomy.

Our brand is rooted in heritage and slow fashion, and our collections pay homage to pieces that are built last, which heirloom pieces of clothing are your most treasured and why?

I have some little lace vests from the 1960’s that I adore.
