We offer a range of UK and international delivery options. All deliveries require a signature and tracking details will be sent once your order has been dispatched.

UK delivery



Standard Delivery costs £5 and usually takes 3–5 working days via Royal Mail Tracked 48.



Express Delivery costs £8 and usually takes 1–2 working days via Royal Mail Tracked 24. Orders placed before 2pm Monday–Friday are typically dispatched the same day.



Next Day Delivery costs £10 and is available for orders placed before 2pm Monday–Thursday. Orders placed on Friday will be delivered the next working day. Next Day Delivery is not available to Northern Ireland.

Deliveries to some remote UK regions may take longer: up to 3 working days for Express and 4–6 working days for Standard.

Channel Islands & Isle of Man



Orders are zero-rated for UK VAT, so no UK VAT is charged at checkout. Pricing remains consistent to reflect higher shipping and operational costs.

USA delivery



USA shipping costs $25 and usually takes 2–5 working days. Duties are covered by us, so there are no additional duty charges on delivery.

EU delivery



EU delivery costs €15 and usually takes 2–5 working days. Orders are sent on a DDP service, meaning all applicable duties and taxes are paid by us.

International delivery



Delivery costs are £18 to Australia, Switzerland and Canada, and £15 to other Rest of World destinations. Delivery usually takes 2–5 working days.

Orders outside the EU are sent on a DDU service, meaning customs duties and import taxes may be payable by you. We are unable to refund delivery costs, customs charges or duties.



Returns



We hope you love your purchase, but if you need to return an item, you can do so within 21 days of receipt, or 14 days for sale and promotional items, provided the item is unworn, unmarked, undamaged and returned in its original packaging with tags attached.

A £3 returns fee applies to UK returns and will be deducted from your refund. US returns are free via the returns portal. EU and international returns are at your own cost.

Protect with Protector Spray which will help shelter from the elements by repelling water, mud, and oil. Softly wipe away dirt and dust with a dry Application Cloth or Beech Mud Brush for more stubborn mud. Regularly brush the nap of the suede to keep it looking pristine.

We work with skilled local artisans and makers to create pieces that are made to last. Our Goodyear welt construction sits at the heart of this, with durable soles that can be renewed when worn through. A majority of boot collection is made using the Goodyear welt construction, which ensures a longer lifecycle for the shoes, often 10 years or more, if cared for correctly.

The Goodyear welt construction involves stitching a welt to the upper and a strip of preformed canvas like a "rib" that runs all around the edges and bottom. It is cemented to the insole of a shoe as an attach point for the outsole or midsole. This Victorian method is generally used to make men's formal shoes but is also synonymous with our brand and its reputation for high quality and comfort.

Goodyear welt construction allows for the shoes or boots to be entirely resoled. This allows customers to breathe new life into their boots every few years and keep them looking good as new.

The Goodyear Welt is flexible and provides a comfortable wear.

Examples of popular Goodyear welted styles:

Long/Standard Tassel Boots, Inclement Tassel Boots and our Nelson and Oscar Boots.

In a Blake construction, the outer sole is directly stitched to the insole so it is like a half welt.

Benefits:

It has a more discreet profile and is generally used on finer boots and shoes, this allows more flexibility and lighter weight as compared to the sturdier Goodyear construction.

Blake welt footwear can be re-soled with specialist machines but not through general shoe repairers.
