Our satins and silks are truly exquisite, bringing ultimate decadence to our shoes. These pieces need a little more care as they can be quite delicate. We do not recommend using any form of liquid on silks and satins (including our protector spray) instead gently wipe with a dry cleaning cloth - please take care during wear.
Cotton, linens and mixes can be gently cleaned with a barely damp sponge. Use a steamer to remove creases, gently smoothing with your fingers after a light steam only. Always allow any moisture to dry naturally. Finish by spraying with a Protector, which will help shelter from the elements by repelling water, mud and oil.
Only put shoes in the washing machine if explicitly stated within the product description.

Please note pure wools can be a little more delicate, so treat delicately with very limited water.
This most decadent and traditional quality has become one of our trademark fabrics. We love it for it’s faded glamour and the wonderfully intense colours that shine through it’s soft pile. We use velvet throughout the year and do not believe it is only for Christmas! You will find it on all kinds of styles from urban boots, trainers and daytime sandals to party slippers and heels.
Protect by spraying with a Protector, which will help shelter from the elements by repelling water, mud and oil. Reapply regularly as and when needed. To restore dull velvet, either use a steamer or hold it at a safe distance from a boiled kettle and steam whilst brushing the pile with a soft brush. To preserve the delicate nature of the velvet, direct contact with water and wear in heavy rain should be avoided.
Silk velvet in particular needs a little more care as it can be quite delicate. We do not recommend using any form of liquid on silk velvet - this just needs extra special care during wear.
