New Beginnings

New Beginnings
Welcome to our Journal
Our goal with this journal is to create a digital space from which we can amplify the stories and moments we feel really form the essence of Penelope Chilvers. We hope it will offer an insight into our processes and production, as well as celebrating the people and the stories that inspire us on our journey to go anywhere and do anything…

Evocative of our back to slow mantra, we will be sharing products old and new, alongside styling ideas, lookbooks, and a set of care tips, focused on making sure our customers can get the most from their PCs. We’ll also be sitting down with other artisanal makers and brands, sharing interviews that uncover the inspirations and ideals that launched lots of the businesses we know and admire.

The journal will be a place for us to share insights from our brand too, with lifestyle and travel pieces, interviews and insights from our founder, Penelope, as well as new collection launches, and lots of other PC news and updates. We hope it will be an easy place to connect with you all and give more of an insight into who we are and what we stand for.

This month, for our first edition, we will be celebrating the re-opening of our Ledbury Road Store with a guide to spending the day in Notting Hill, something that is now possible again! We will also be sitting down with founder Penelope, for the first in our Afternoon Tea with series. A collection of interviews with founders and brands, whose businesses share our own belief in slow craftsmanship, and handmade beauty.

And finally, we’ll be sharing our Summer lookbook, celebrating a collection that was inspired by the true slowing down of life and the bucolic, beautiful, ordinary that is nature.

We hope you enjoy!

Yes! So happy to see this. Bring back blogs I say. I love getting little insights and a sense that you're talking directly to the team in the studio - social media just isn't the same. Will check in regularly :)
